I started teaching Group Fitness classes in 1990 when they just called it "Aerobics". I fell in love with dance fitness and continued to broaden my class formats from floor jazz-style aerobics to Muscle, Cycle, Kickboxing, Aqua, Step and more. I have always enjoyed dancing, so in my search to do some dancing socially, it was recommended to me to try Line Dancing. I was doing the Cha-Cha, Hustle, Swing, Two- Step all without needing a partner! I decided to start teaching line dancing myself in a "fitness class format" and I call it “LINEDANCERCISE”! I have a blast teaching my classes, especially Linedancercise! We dance to a VARIETY of music and dance rhythms!
My overall class goals are safety, motivation, and FUN! If it’s not fun, why do it? :)
I’m still teaching Group Fitness Classes such as CYCLE, STEP AND MUSCLE in addition to teaching my LINEDANCERCISE classes. I’m also working with the Exercise Safety Association to help “mentor” other folks in becoming certified Group Fitness Instructors. I have more information on my classes and programs in this website!
