Hi and welcome to my website!
I started teaching Group Fitness classes back in the leg-warmer days of the 80's and continued to broaden my class formats from floor jazz-style aerobics to Muscle, Cycle, Kickboxing, Aqua, Step and more. Several years ago, when I left the corporate world to become a “Stay-at-Home-Mom” I was looking for something FUN to do with my friends that was "active". My Aunt recommended that I try Line Dancing. I raved about it in my fitness classes and they convinced me to start teaching it myself. I started teaching a more "aerobic" format calling it “LINEDANCERCISE”! I really enjoy teaching this style of dance to a VARIETY of music and dance rhythms! Actually, Line Dancing is very similar to Ball Room type dancing except "no partner required" :)
My overall class goals are safety, motivation, and FUN! If it’s not fun, why do it?
Currently, I’m still teaching Group Fitness Classes such as CYCLE, STEP AND MUSCLE in addition to teaching Linedancercise in Ahwatukee. I’m also working with the Exercise Safety Association to help “mentor” other folks in becoming certified Group Fitness Instructors. I have more information on my classes and programs in this website!
